During open enrollment you will be eligible to apply for health insurance to be in effect for January 1, 2017 to Febuary 1, 2017.

Even if you do not qualify for a subsidy, you still are required to have a 2017 health insurance policy compliant with Affordable Health Care Act or pay a penalty for each person not covered by 02/01/2016! The penalty could be up to 2 1/2% of your yearly household income, or $695/adult, and $347.50/child with a maximum penality of $2085/family!! 2017 will be higher!
